How to Increase YouTube Views by Yourself

You put in a lot of work to create the video and upload. But you don’t get the views you expect. That’s the case for most YouTubers. There are still things you can do to increase views for your YouTube video. Give steps a try.

1. Test Video Thumbnails to increase YouTube views

You can improve the YouTube click through rate by testing various versions of your thumbnail. When you are creating thumbnails remember to make about 2 or 3 thumbnails together. So you can do this experiment easily.

In the video below I walk through the steps of testing 2 thumbnails. At the end of the experiment you can figure out which one is the best thumbnail for you.

If you don’t want to manually keep track of your click through rate and go through the effort of changing thumbnails, then you can do the same thing with TubeBuddy. Tubebuddy has an automated process which doesn’t take even 2 minutes to setup.

2. Share the video in uncommon places

I am sure you might not have heard of the video submission sites mentioned in the video below. Depending on the type of videos you create you can share your video on all or some of these site. They are all free.

3. Share the video in a related Facebook group

When you share on Facebook, you want to do it in a group that’s focused on your niche and where you are answering a common question or solving a problem for the people in the group. Not only will this increase youtube views for your videos you will also gain more subscribers. Why ? Because they are watching videos related to their interest. So the conversion from viewer to subscriber will be good.
