Hi, I am Marie Perera

I am the founder of this website and I help YouTubers and small business owners grow their brand and business through video.

I started this blog as part of a university assignment back in 2011. Little did I know that what I handed over for a graded assignment would lead to so many opportunities!
Couple of years later, I blog for a living + I teach others to do the same, and I love every second of it!

I’m a YouTube strategist and coach. I’ve worked with dozens of YouTube creators 1-on-1 and was featured in some pretty cool interviews and articles in places like Entrepreneur and Hubspot.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, after graduating First Class at Manchester Metropolitan UK University in 2014. This has made me tech savvy and been able to fiddle around with technical aspects of blogging and video.

Besides that, I’m just a regular gal, living its best dog mom life. Just in case you’re curious to know what I’m made of outside this website, here are some random facts about me:
* I never say no to pancakes!
* I absolutely love dance shows and wish I could dance like that!
* I own more books than I’ll ever have time to read in this life (and always buy more!)
* I live in Oslo, Norway and love cross country skiing.
* I love the idea of camping, going on a boat, fishing and all that outdoorsy stuff, but really, I don’t like the heat or bugs!
